The Kinesiology Institute of Florida is veteran owned, veteran operated. With over 42 years of combined experience, our mission is to promote the professional practice of medical massage therapy and innovative somatic therapies for PTSD, trauma and injuries and our goal is to provide exceptional massage and kinesiology services to our clients from all walks of life.
Kinesiology (AK/TFH) are systems that use gentle muscle testing as feedback from the body. They are the foundation for all other systems using muscle testing. By testing muscle strength and response, we can identify imbalances and guide where correction is most needed.
• Weak or inhibited muscle response = an area of stress or compensation
• Balanced muscle response = stability and proper function
Kinesiology doesn’t diagnose — instead, it helps us target the right techniques at the right time, whether that’s deep massage, fascial release, Muscle Energy Technique, NMT, or stretching.
